writing without oodles of inspiration

I’ve hit the road bump earlier than I thought I would. All the big thoughts and ideas and inspiration that runs through your mind at the start of a project has wound down.

This is the hard part. Well, one of the hard parts. I know what needs to be on the page but it’s not coming to me in bright bursts of glowing eloquence anymore. Now I have to pry the words from my head with a crowbar.

This kind of really sucks. I know everything I want to say is in my head somewhere but it won’t come out and get on the damn page.

I think people don’t always realize that there’s a lot of work that has to go with creativity if you ever want to get things done. This definitely isn’t easy. Hopefully the next moment of inspiration isn’t too far away.

Oh, hello there

I should be working on my Camp Nanowrimo project but then the urger to take a nap sounded much more appealing. Rainy days make me sleepy, being inside with blankets and tea are so much cozier.

Getting all the accounts and sites set up and synced took a bit more time than I thought it would, but ta-da! Official website for posts about my writing. Here I hope to keep y’all updated about my writing projects and any interesting happenings going on with me. Also I’ll probably post pictures of cats.

Back to writing.
